Functional Assessment

For clients about to start a proactive transformation or improvement programme, CHAINGE recommends that a functional assessment is carried out in order to provide an accurate baseline and inform the development of the plan.

We offer 2 options:

An independently verified and professionally certificated service through our partnership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). CHAINGE is an approved supplier of CIPS Corporate Certification services and the Managing Director and Transformation Lead of CHAINGE are approved assessors.

A functional self assessment tool for clients that wish to rigorously identify gaps in their journey towards functional excellence, without the requirement for independent verification and accreditation.

CHAINGE conducted 18 corporate certification assessments on behalf of CIPS in the transport operations, construction, oil & gas, legal services, financial services, public infrastructure and international development sectors.

CHAINGE carried out a comprehensive diagnostic of the procurement functional capability of a public Department of Health in Africa in order to establish a baseline for informing subsequent improvement activity.

CHAINGE carried out a comprehensive diagnostic of the procurement functional capability of a public sector educational institute in Ukraine in order to inform the development of its prioritised improvement programme.
