Case Examples

 

CHAINGE provided practical advice and support on behalf of CIPS to a US based port services company on the development and implementation of its functional capability in procurement and supply chain management. This included the development of a fit-for purpose operating model and a standard policy and set of processes, the establishment of a functional improvement plan, the launch of category networks, and the development of a model category strategy.

CHAINGE provided detailed advice and guidance on behalf of CIPS to a US based international aid institution on the steps necessary to successfully transition towards a proactive category management approach.

CHAINGE supported the improvement of health procurement practices in Africa, through projects implemented under the 3 year grant awarded to CIPS by a major US based Foundation focused on improving healthcare in developing countries. More specifically, CHAINGE researched and described the current health procurement operating models in 3 lead countries, co-led a major health procurement improvement project in South Africa, and provided subject matter expertise to the design of the “Health Procurement Africa” knowledge hub.

CHAINGE provided detailed, documented, practical guidance to an Energy company in Central Europe on the alignment of its Procurement Strategy/ Plan to its Corporate/ Business Strategic Objectives

After conducting formal functional assessments on behalf of CIPS for public sector clients in Eastern Europe, CHAINGE provided practical advice on closing key gaps identified by such assessments,  and re-assessed the relevant areas to ensure that such gaps were effectively closed.

 

CHAINGE conducted a detailed global supply market assessment for Hope Energy covering both renewable energy (Solar, Wind, Biomass) and energy efficiency.  Hope Energy is a sustainable energy solution provider based in South Africa. It analyses and understands the energy needs of a customer and optimises the combination of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources to meet those needs.

CHAINGE provided interim hands-one support in the development of contract frameworks for the downstream division of a major Oil and Gas company.
